Now enrolling — limited spots. A hands-on lab where children and teens (from age 5) build working machines: electronics, Arduino, robots, 3D printing and code. Every Friday at Playfort, Onyx Park Resort, Ubud.
Children and teens from age 5. Groups are formed by time slot and level — Explorers, Creators and Innovators — and the team (or Helix, the lab guide on this site) recommends where each child starts.
Working things: electronic circuits with LEDs and sensors, Arduino projects, smart-home models, robots (Otto, SMARS), 3D-designed and printed parts, block-to-C coding, video-game characters, and first steps in web, IoT and AI engineering.
At Playfort, Onyx Park Resort, Jl. Sri Wedari No.24, Tegallantang, Ubud, Bali. Every Friday at 3:30 PM, 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM. Each class is 60 minutes; four classes a month.
IDR 1,650,000 per month for four classes, plus a one-time enrollment fee of IDR 350,000 per child. Everything is provided — laptops, software, electronic components and maker kits. Payment is made in person at Playfort.
Visit the Playfort desk at Onyx Park Resort: the team completes the registration and takes the payment in person. You can leave your details on this site or ask Helix first, and the last spot in the Friday 5:00 PM group can be reserved by WhatsApp.
No. Laptops with software, electronic components and maker kits are provided by Art Fab Lab. Just bring a water bottle and arrive a few minutes early.
The lab welcomes families in English, Bahasa Indonesia and Russian. This website and Helix answer in all three.
Muchamat Sobar, robotics engineer and founder of CreativRobo, who has taught robotics and built curricula since 2019 and mentored national competition podium winners.
The program is not drop-in: every class builds on the previous one, in a 10-month curriculum of two parts. New groups start from Level 1; late enrollment is accepted up to the third class. If a time is full, join the waitlist at the lab.
